Today's session was to continue working with de-constructed garments. In groups of two we had to use the garment pieces and cover a chair of our choice in them (similar to the ''mutton cloth'' experiment, where we had to cover the chairs with cling film). The aim of the session was to come up with an interesting garment, influenced by the shape of the chair.
We started by wrapping the chair using the outer pieces of two men's tailored jackets.
In order to make the shape accurate, we placed notches in certain places in order to make the shape tighter to the chair.
